About One Heart Books

One Heart Books was created to inspire & nurture the next generation of literature that celebrates the fundamental oneness of humankind and the reality that tiny seeds of kindness planted by little hands in hearts around them will form a united and more peaceful world. The first publication of this new venture is "Together, Even When We're Apart" and we look forward to sharing more characters and stories with you going forward.

Linda Ahdieh Grant has a BA in Anthropology from Haverford College and a PhD in Epidemiology from Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. Creating stories for children with Anna brings together many of her favorite things — the spirit of childhood, the written word,  art, and the power of community.  She lives in Decatur, Georgia with her family.

Anna Myers has a BA in Drawing, Painting, and Printmaking from Bard College at Simon’s Rock, and an MFA in Illustration from Western Connecticut State University. Anna's experiences in the field of graphic design, publishing, and illustration, bring her great joy as the books come to life.
In her work she hopes to show the children who read her books that love for humanity can heal the world. She lives in Queens, New York with her family.
